Span, Gurugram is a landmark commercial development combining retail units with serviced apartments. The site, having visibility from 3 major roads, is developed to make the most of its location. To achieve this, a striking tower is designed with a facade treatment to stand out within its context. A series of half-height vertical walls work to provide privacy to each apartment while also lending the facade a distinct character. The lower floors are planned around large central courts, creating an internal frontage for the multiple retail brands. The courts also ensure that the complex is well-ventilated with ample daylight penetration.
